salads

What I usually dish out on this blog are roughly diced pieces of my life. Well, here’re some salads — colorful low-calorie combinations of healthful social criticism — prepared for you by my 8th graders at Nuzha’s UNRWA school. The stories were brainstormed collectively by the boys or girls, and (ironically) the elementary drawings are mine. Since the boys and girls wrote their stories separately, I’ll leave you to guess which were chopped up by whom. Enjoy!
